about me

I was born in 1984 and raised on a picturesque farm near Stellenbosch, South Africa.

After spending many years running around in the outdoors and negotiating the rocky terrain of adolescence, I finished my schooling and went on to study journalism at Rhodes University in the Eastern Cape. I majored in photojournalism and graduated, with distinction, in 2006.

I have contributed photographs to a number of books, been published in magazines and newspapers and have worked as photographer at various events.

I have developed my passion for photography and journalism throughout my studies and continue to further my photography skills whenever possible.

This site is a collection of some of my favourite photographs that I would like to showcase to others.
