As a photographer, I find that every now and again, for lack of subjects, I’m forced to capture myself. This was complete experimentation, but I like the quality of light and atmosphere.

Expose your Roots

A friend of mine came to me with the request to shoot a photo of an aloe with its roots exposed. The most difficult part of this project was figuring out exactly how to make the aloe float in the middle of the canvas. With a little ingenuity we succeeded and I am very happy with the final result. The friend aims to print this on an A1 or A0 scale - and I think it will be very eye -catching.
